Everything published here — the words, the photographs, the page itself — is © The HY Times Company, 1925–2026, unless credited otherwise. The name and the look of The HY Times are ours as well.
You are welcome to read, and to read as much as you like, for your own personal, non-commercial use. Quote us in your own work and we are flattered; just attribute the quote to The HY Times and, where you can, link back to the article.
What you may not do is take the paper wholesale — copying articles in bulk, republishing them elsewhere, or scraping the site to feed some other service — without our written permission. A newspaper is worth something, and this one intends to go on being worth it.
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we make no promise that it will be perfect or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for what follows from an error or an outage. When we find a mistake, we correct it; see our corrections page.
